Biography

     Superman was born on April 14, 1994. His sire is the top producing Ch. Skansen's Quidame. His dam is another top producer, Ch. Skansen's Phantasie.

    Superman is a huge, handsome, gentle Giant, approximately 29 inches tall and over 100 lbs - he is very impressive, just like his dad. He finished his title early, has OFA good hips and is turning out to be another of our top stud dogs just like his sire Quidame and grandsire Sieger, No. 1 stud dog USA 1995. His dam's grandsire also was No. 1 stud dog a few years ago (1993) - Magnetic Storm - and his sire in turn, Ch. Skansen's I Have A Dream No. 1 Giant of all time with 34 Best in Shows and 4 Best of Breeds at Nationals and, of course Gentleman Thief, No. I studdog in the history of this breed with 96 Champion offsprings The pedigree is solid champions and all top quality, so it is not surprising.

    Superman's litter sister, Ch. Skansen's Status Quo, we saved for our 1996 National in San Antonio Texas. She went there in the classes and beat every top winning champion in USA for Best of Breed - a tremendous win over 85 Giants. The judge was Mrs. Anne Rogers Clarke - considered by many to be the top lady judge in USA.

    Superman produces very large, heavy boned pups with excellent temperaments, good toplines, tailsets, rear and lovely big heads. I predict Superman will become one of the top producers within a very short period of time. Superman's sister, Serena also just finished her championship.
